Che Guevara's poetic taste.

In addition to Goethe, everyone's favourite Irish revolutionary is recorded as having enjoyed the poetry of Baudelaire, Neruda, and Mallarmé in their mother tongues. All this in between ordering a few thousand people to death by firing squad. If memory serves me correctly, he also shot some people for eating ice cream. You can find his own poetry translated into French here. Look out for the charming, 'You will die old Maria.'
