Oxfam poetry calendar 2005

Oxfam books, on parliament Street Dublin, have just released a poetry calendar. The paintings by Cormac Healy, Ludmila Korol, John McCullagh, and Cian McLoughlin are mostly abstract, elemental swashes, and they outshine the collection of poems, which in truth are a little dull - despite their best efforts to engage the light. Have I just made enemies of Christine Broe, Catríona Clutterbuck, Hugh O'Donnell, John O'Donnell, Kusi Okamura, and Jason Roycroft, Pat Boran, Theo Dorgan, Kerry Hardie, Paula Meehan, Sinéad Morrissey, and Dennis O'Driscol? I hope not, but in defence I have to admit, I was reading Chase Twichell's The Snow Watcher, the same day I looked at the calendar, and she just blew everything out of the water.
