String theories by Kai Fierle-Hedrick.

String theories is the name given by Kai Fierle-Hedrick to a slender collection of six 'compositions of the heart', written for musician Panayiotis Demopoulos, and later played by concert pianist Sara Nicolls back in May 05. They're quite beautiful. You can listen to them yourself here.
I think you'll agree that String theories 4, introduced by the word change is within a few listens terminally addictive. What you might also like to know, because it might increase your enjoyment of this stanza, is that in the published poems we discover that the words "time thinking about itself" are after Octavio Paz. To be precise, this is a reference to his comment that light is time thinking about itself. Hopefully we'll soon get to listen to the piano pieces as well.
